Beth Bobek
Founder & Principal Planner

Beth Bobek is an award-winning event planner and the principal planner and founder of Events by Beth. Her strong reputation comes from over a decade of experience in event design, planning and production. Beth prides herself on her calm demeanor and impeccable communication skills. She listens and understands her client’s needs to deliver flawless and successful events. Beth has produced numerous multi-million dollar events throughout the U.S., working with numerous Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, notable society families and government agencies. Previously, Beth was the Director of Special Events for Autism Speaks, overseeing 12-15 of the organization’s national events annually, including walks, conferences, cocktail receptions, dinner galas, concerts, culinary events and golf tournaments. Beth graduated from Miami University, and currently lives in Stamford, CT with her husband, Kyle, and daughter, Anna. 

Liz Labrosciano
Principal Planner

Liz Labrosciano is an accomplished event planner with over 10 years of experience. Previously, Liz worked as Event Manager at Autism Speaks in their National Headquarters, where she produced several multi-million dollar events. After leaving Autism Speaks in 2010, Liz went on to pursue a position in the Advancement Department at King Low Heywood Thomas, a co-education private school in Stamford, CT. During her time at King, Liz successfully planned and executed over two-dozen events each year. Liz is known for her positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and clients. Liz joined Events by Beth in August 2015 and is thrilled to be back working with her talented colleague and good friend, Beth. Liz graduated from DeSales University and lives in Stamford, CT with her husband, Andre, and son, William. 

Beth and Liz met in 2005 working as Event Managers in the National Events Department for Autism Speaks. They quickly discovered that they had much more in common than their first names!  Raised in the same town, traveled in the same circles, but never actually meeting until they were sharing an office in Port Chester, NY! During their time at Autism Speaks, Beth and Liz often talked about running their own business, doing what they loved and did so well. Liz left Autism Speaks to pursue a career path in development while Beth stayed on and became the Director of the National Events Department.  Eventually, the stars aligned and they joined forces once again.
